Redirect your complete website while updating

Assume you want to update your whole page due to some major change, you’ll find this htaccess come in handy. You can forward all your single pages to one you create for that issue, so noone can interfere while updating a database or anything else that would wreck up otherwise. All you need to do is to put the following lines into your document root’s .htaccess file.

RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/server_down.html$
